Bursting with sun-soaked melodies and wavy guitar licks, Brisbane/Meanjin’s indie-rock sweethearts ‘Mid Drift’ release their newest single ‘Play Pretend’. After exploding onto the scene just last year, the 5-piece have truly established themselves having sold out their debut headliner show at The Valley Loft and securing significant support slots alongside crowd favourites such as Great Gable, Old Mervs, and Rum Jungle. Their rise continued with spots on festivals line-ups such as Spaced Out Festival, Festival of the Stone and Frothy Festival and a successful tour along Australia's South East Coast. With their truly electric live set and relatable, raw song writing, it's no surprise Mid Drift have swiftly captured the hearts of their hometown audience and are steadily building a loyal following nationwide. The band are set to release their debut EP, titled ‘LEMON, LIME & TANLINES’ in late 2024
